Due to the excellent physical properties and significant advantages, copper is considered to be an ideal material for architecture. These include heritage and modern applications including monuments, museums, churches, commercially used buildings, and private residences.
We stock mill finished copper in gauges from 0.55 mm to 3.00mm. Copper is used for rainwater goods, such as traditional and half round gutters and downpipes, Standing Seam Roof cladding and facade cladding in Angle Standing Seam and Interlocking Panel Systems.
One of the world's leading manufacturers in copper and alloy preliminary products and semi-finished products. KME Copper also excels globally for façade architecture.
Copper strips and sheets for roofing are made of CU-DHP, oxygen-free, phosphorus-deoxidised copper, with limited residual phosphorus content. Furthermore, proven good weldability and solder-ability, which improves forming efficiency, regardless of temperature and rolling direction, enabling corrosion-resistant, and small maintenance.
Surface material of sheets and strips are developed with a matt dark brown colour, naturally processing through oxidation, which overtime, shade of green patina typical of copper will emerge, and giving the overall copper aesthetics, in addition to its established protective properties for your roof projects.
